Field Service Technician / Certified UST Inspector
Experienced petroleum equipment Field Service Technician to join our service team in Lewiston, Maine. This position performs installation, maintenance, and repair of service station/fueling equipment and facilities throughout Maine. It will also regularly perform annual state DEP inspections of underground storage tank facilities.
Ideal candidates will have hands on experience and certifications working on Gilbarco and/or Wayne product dispensers, Veeder-Root and Incon tank monitoring systems, and Franklin Fueling or Red Jacket STPs. Additional experience with Gilbarco or Verifone point of sale systems is a plus. A current Underground Oil Storage Tank Installer or Inspector certification is required.
Construction Crew Member
We are looking for hard working individuals to work on our construction and installation team. This position will contribute to completing petroleum system projects by assisting with excavation, piping, and equipment installations. This is a hands-on, labor intensive role. Specific tasks include but are not limited to shoveling, raking, concrete forming and finishing, assembling piping systems, and general site cleanup. In this role you will be able to learn the petroleum systems trade. Hard working and self-motivated individuals will have the opportunity to grow within the organization and become a certified installer, inspector, or service technician. Incentive programs will be offered to those who acquire certifications for various technical equipment. All training is paid for by the company.
Construction/Mechanical experience is a plus.
Must have a valid Maine drivers license.
Full Time Position
Occasional overnight travel required. Expenses paid by company.
Compliance Technician (Entry Level)
We are looking for a Petroleum System Compliance/Service Technician to work out of our facility in Lewiston. Some of the responsibilities of this position include the inspection, testing, and repair of fuel storage and dispensing equipment to assure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local codes. This includes the annual tank inspections required by State Law and Department of Environmental Protection.
This position is your opportunity to enter into the petroleum equipment industry in a position that will grow into a career. The right individual will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail, a mechanical or construction background, the ability to work independently or within a team environment, and have excellent customer service skills.
To start, this position will apprentice under a current Maine DEP Underground Storage Tank Inspector and will be trained to also be certified and perform site inspections independently. Additional growth within the company includes the opportunity to become a service technician or certified UST Installer.
